Startup Crash (Windows)
Last updated: 4月 10, 2026•1 分钟 read.
The most common cause for startup crashes is a low-quality graphics card or out-of-date graphics drivers. If you have a higher-quality card installed and your drivers are up-to-date, Windows may default to the lower-quality one when running, causing the crash.
Depending on which card you use, you can make sure SketchUp always uses the correct graphics card in your card's application ( NVIDIA Control Panel , AMD Radeon Settings ). You can also assign a graphics card to an application in the Graphics section of Windows Settings.
If you use a docking station or a secondary monitor you will also need to make sure those are connected to your higher-quality GPU.
