Activating SketchUp Pro
Note: Each product license is intended for use by a single named user, a real person using their first name, last name, and email address, for the duration of the subscription term. The person using a license must match the person assigned to that license when purchasing or renewing a subscription. Single named-user licenses cannot be transferred to another user, but can be updated at specific times. For details, see the Trimble User Assignment and Device Management Policy .
When opening SketchUp on a new device for the first time there are a few things to keep in mind:
A single-user license or subscription seat can only be used by the user who is registered or assigned to that seat.
You can activate a license or sign in on up to two computers.
You must be online to validate your license or subscription.
To start using SketchUp, follow these steps:
Open SketchUp.
The Welcome to SketchUp window will appear.
Click Sign In .
A new browser window will open asking you to sign in using your Trimble ID.
After a successful sign in, a message will appear letting you know you can close the browser window and return to SketchUp.
